I woke up at 6 AM today to go and vote. I have to drive off to Albany today for a school visit, so I thought I'd better go early and beat the rush. I didn't beat the rush. Like how the line ends in the sunrise? Symbolic, perhaps?

After about two hours of waiting, I voted...and I have the sticker to prove it!

    Mike got in line at our polling place this morning at 6:30. Then he came home, kissed me goodbye, and headed off for Buffalo, NY, to catch a flight to Ontario.

    I'm hoping I'll be able to celebrate the election results tonight--or early tomorrow morning.

    That's crazy that you had to wait that long! The longest I've been hearing so far in NY is an hour and a half.
