Sometimes when I'm painting I start to get more interested in whats going on in my palette than in my painting. Maybe this is a form of procrastination. Or maybe making narrative art sometimes leaves you yearning for abstraction? Either way I like taking pictures of the little accidental paintings...
Ooo, these colors make me want to see the paintings!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one especially!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Anna!
ReplyDeleteI keep all of my palettes (easy to do since I only use watercolor) and store them with the final art when I get it back, like they're little paintings themselves.
Very cool indeed! And procrastinating, isn't always procrastinating.

My teaching is like that some days. More interested in the swirl of students than in the benchmarks and indicators in the standards...although who's to say which is the truer narrative of my classroom...hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWhat do you know...that's what my brain looks like after writing some days, too!
