It's too bad that someone isn't sitting on the stump. "The Giving Tree" has always made me feel a little bit frustrated. I wish that tree knew how to pick a better friend.

I always thought the title "The Taking Boy" might be more accurate. I agree with Posse, that tree needed to pick a better friend.
