Wedding pics and links

Got home late last night from a whirlwind but wonderful weekend in Salem, MA for Grace and Alex's wedding. It was a lovely, fun time with lots of friends. Following are some highlights with no commentary.

Hurray for Grace and Alex! Here's to a lifetime of love, joy, and adventure together. Cheers!

Here are two links from last week that I found interesting reading. First, an article from slate.com about Common Sense Media.

Second, an article from the Huffington Post on the role of an editor (thought this was a good follow-up to my guest post from a few weeks ago).

Have a great week, all!

  2. It was a great wedding! Love the kid with his pants off. What made it great was that Grace painted all of the guests' heads on round pieces of wood and then put them on cupcakes. It made everyone feel special!

On a personal note, I hate how I am like a head taller than everyone else. And people wonder why I don't wear heels. This is why!

  3. SO happy for Grace & Alex!!! And Meghan, don't feel too bad about being tall. It just means you're less likely to be forgotten (and easier to find in a crowd in case you get lost). This is coming from someone who feels like a skyscraper in the middle of grassy field most of the time. ;-)

  6. Yes. I'm keeping my cupcake head! Grace made not just cupcakes, including the pink flower frosting, but double happiness cookies, and little pink hearts -- and handmade papel picado, painted paper cranes.....Anna made the mats on each table. It was all so pink and pretty! Double happiness to Grace and Alex!
