picture books done in 3D?

Hey guys,

I'm working on improving my school talk and I'm in need of an example of a picture book done in 3D. Sculpture perhaps? I already have the cut paper down. I'm thinking real 3D - something that needs to be photographed. Any ideas? Please do share! Thanks!

This counts as cut paper but it turns into a shadow box/carousel/ornament: http://candlewick.com/cat.asp?browse=Title&mode=book&isbn=0763621900&pix=n

Do you mean like Salley Mavor's work? Her illustrations are amazing, I saw some in real life--her books don't do her sewn illustrations justice.

also, Melissa Sweet's new book, "Balloons Over Broadway" had some 3-d elements

How about _Chickarella_ by Mary Jane Auch? It has photographs of chicken mannequins wearing cute little outfits arranged on elaborate sets.

Also, MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON by Jenny Slate, and WHERE IS COCO GOING by Sloane Tanen.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I've got some good ones now. Alvina: wow, that Hansel and Gretel book--I remember that one too! My grandparents had it! Oh the memories!
