Alvina has written an interesting post about race on her personal blog which I wouldn't want Blue Rose Girl readers to miss. Being a "multi-cultural" (ah, dreaded label) author/illustrator, I found it especially thought provoking.

Grace, I went and pulled a Fran Leibowitz on Alvina's blog ("spilling one's guts is attractive as that sounds"), but it was beyond me. It was such an on-target, timely thread.
Thank you so much for posting about it--now I have to find a block of time to take those tests, my curiosity is piqued!
