I'm so glad I went to the bar outing last night! I'd read the invite on http://fusenumber8.blogspot.com/ (fun to see the infamous blogger herself in the flesh!). I’d dragged a few of my publishing friends with me (who had no idea what it was all about but I think they’re also glad they went) and was surprised to see my agent in attendance. I love it when I bump into people I'm not expecting (thanks for dinner, Rebecca!) The outing was great fun! I love talking about publishing and books and it's exciting when there is a group of others who like to do the same thing. I hope another get together can happen soon and maybe some other blue rose blogging ladies can come with!

Oooh, I'm glad you went! My book group went, too, but I was unable to go due to a bachelorette party, but hope to make the next one!
