So, you probably know it has been a difficult 5 months for me. But one of the few things that has saved it from being a complete nightmare has been the support of friends-- close ones that are near and dear as well as ones I have only met once or online. I have to admit I have still not completely adapted to my new life; hence apologies if I act rather brusque or awkward if meeting in person or I don't seem to acknowledge your kindness. It really is appreciated. From the amazing, wonderful "Blogging for a Cure" to the heartfelt anonymous comments, I've begun to see that there is enough love here on earth to make up for the one that has left.
