how to not to draw an alien

ooookay, now I've gone too far. Instead of getting any work done tonight I decided to make a little video from some footage I had (when I was attempting to make a "how to" with the new video cam)

I feel like i"m taking up too much blog space with my blabbering and my MP3s and my this and my that so I might either shut up or delete what I've written in a few hours to compensate. Sorry BR ladies! I can't help myself. I'm out of control. The creativity is flowing in the wrong directions lately.

p.s - I've managed to put the video on this thing but there's no sound. go to www.meghan-mccarthy.com/how_to_draw.html for sound!

What you need, Meghan, are some of those Bob Ross happy little clouds. Now this is where you can put your tagline into action! You go girl!

Meghan,

You made me laugh out loud.

Great way to start the day.

Thank you.

Meghan,

I meant to ask - why just non fiction for your tag? Given your nature, isn't possible you will want to write your own story at some point?

Tagline... why nonfiction only. Hmmm. I had tried to come up with a tagline for all of my work for a long time but couldn't do it. I gave up.

Nonfiction for me is what I think I'm getting noticed for... or hope to. I also don't have any new fiction projects lined up... so I want to promote what I'm doing now and what I'm most interested in. If I ever wrote a memoir I obviously wouldn't use that tagline! It would only show up next to my nonfiction books. That was the plan anyway.

Besides, I hope it’s obvious now that I’m ALL OVER THE PLACE. It feels somewhat comforting for me to settle into something.

I love the use of the video. I didn't realize the blogger program could do that. Is it easy to upload?

Ha ha, hilarious Meghan. Instructional video gone wrong. Now I want to get out my video camera!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have fun with the camera! My next project, I think, is a short film I'll call "the good and the bad of being self employed"... or something like that.

I also didn't know you could put videos on blogger. the video is uploaded to my site server so I wrote embed src"how_not_to_draw.mov" and up it came! I think you can put anything on blogger if you do it that way.

Ah, just saw the video, it wasn't working for me before for some reason. And I have sound, too!

I loved it. Is it still on your fridge?
